Team Scorpion
Team Scorpion is the website of the 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge team I am involved with. Our vehicle, “Chrome”, is in the midst of becoming one of the world’s first vehicles that will successfully navigate urban traffic environments autonomously (without any human intervention, besides hitting the “Go” button).
Within a decade, U.S. military vehicles of all varieties will be making the transition to autonomous or semi-autonomous (man in the loop) transportation of materials, rescue of wounded soldiers, and in some cases, even direct involvement in combat operations.
